The Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board (MP-NNCSB) is seeking Behavioral Specialists for the Youth and Family Services Program, serving students in the region with behavioral and emotional disorders.

JOB DUTIES:  include providing individual, group, behavioral support, and family counseling to six children during the school day. Behavioral Specialists also sometimes work with children after school and during the summer.

LOCATIONS: School’s with openings in the Northern Neck (Westmoreland, Northumberland, Richmond, and Lancaster Counties) and in the Middle Peninsula (Gloucester, Mathews, King William, and Middlesex Counties).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree in a human services field and one year of experience working with children with a mental health diagnosis. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Valid VA drivers’ license & acceptable driving record required.

Salary : Commensurate with education and experience.
