Residential Services
|
The overriding goal of Residential Services is to provide an environment that can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual.
Specific goals for each individual are developed in a team meeting and documented in the individual's service plan. With the
individual's permission, parents and family members are always encouraged to be an active part of the planning process. Residential
Services are billable to Home and Community-Based (MR) Waiver.
Services Offered:
Congregate Residential Services for adults 18 years and older are available in six group homes throughout Middle Peninsula and
Northern Neck. Homes consist of four or five individuals with intellectual disabilities, as well as highly trained staff who support
their needs. Each group home provides 24-hour supervision, assistance, and training to residents.
In-Home Residential Support Services can be provided for children in their family's home and to individuals living in their own
homes or apartments. In-home support is available to people who live independently, but need assistance and training with certain
aspects of daily living.
